What are your prices? I want to see a price list.
You will receive a price list after we have answered your other questions
and signed the Sales Partner agreement. Rest assured you will be able to see
our cost on all items, we do not markup or apply any "load" to the
prices that you will be working with.
How do
I get paid?
You will receive up to 50% of the Gross Profit for everything you sell. We will
track your sales and the profit on these sales and provide a report to you on
a monthly basis. Each month you will receive a commission check for the previous
months efforts.
How do I place orders?
You will have several options, the most popular is to set each of your customers
up with our "E-catalog" system that allows you to customize a simple
e-commerce portal for each customer so they have all their pricing at their fingertips
and can automate the ordering process. You and your customers will always have
the ability to simply phone, fax or e-mail orders directly into your dedicated
Sales Administrator.
How much flexibility
do I have in pricing toner?
While we do retain the authority to establish minimum pricing levels, the price
you deliver to your customers is ultimately up to you. Most of our Sales Partners
average approximately 40% mark-up on our compatible toner products and 20% mark-up
on the OEM products. Our experienced sales support team can help you determine
what the best price points are for certain products and certain customers.
How do I sell
service?
ATS has established a huge network of Preferred Service Providers throughout
the country and we also have negotiated rates with the major third-party service
providers. You can sell service to your customers with confidence knowing we
can offer service on either a "time and materials" basis or on a
contracted "full service maintenance" agreement. Our negotiated rates
allow you to profit on this business while still delivering service to your customers
at the lowest possible rates.
How do I sell
Managed Print Services and Price Per Page contracts?
ATS has in-house Managed Print software, remote monitoring and the expertise
required to effectively deliver these solutions to your customers. This consultative
selling approach is emerging as an effective tool to maximize your profit and
build life-long relationships with your customer base. You will work closely
with our operations team on all print management solutions.
What will my
territory be?
ATS wants their Sales Partners to follow their customers and their business wherever
it takes them throughout the United States. We do not place geographic restrictions
on your territory and only require that one Sales Partner must not engage an
active/existing ATS customer.
Am I a W2 employee
or 1099 Independent Contract?
ATS wants you to have freedom in how you run your business so our Sales Partners
are 1099 Independent Contractors, not W2 employees. This relationship is structured
for you to retain control of your customer base and build equity in your own
business and customer list, allowing you to potentially sell or transfer this
business in the future.
Does ATS or
iPrint supply me with any supplies, office equipment or a computer?
As an independent contractor you are responsible for these items. Most of our
Sales Partners simply use a laptop or basic home office along with their smart
phone. If you do not have these items we will assist you with the purchase and
configuration to get you started. It is important to remember that all of your
expenses have tax benefits for you and are typically "write offs" (consult
your tax advisor).
How much monthly
income can I expect to make as a Sales Partner?
Many of our Sales Partners make in excess of $10,000 per month. We also have
Sales Partners that make as little as $2,000 per month. The amount you make is
entirely up to you: your ability sell, your customer base / contact list and
the amount of work you put into it. Those who are truly making a career out of
being an ATS Sales Partner are routinely meeting or exceeding their income goals,
and having fun doing so. Those who are utilizing the Partner Program as supplemental
income find it extremely effective because they can spend just a handful of hours
each week selling while we take care of everything else.
Am I allowed to hold another job and/or sell other products while I'm a Sales Partner?
Yes, many of our Sales Partners have other part-time jobs, sell other products
or services or work as service technicians. As an independent contractor we can
not control what you do with your time, but we do have protections in place to
avoid being in "competition" with one of our Sales Partners. We simply
ask that you purchase all your imaging supplies through the Sales Partner program
and avoid doing business with or being a part of another imaging supplies vendor.
How do I get
started?
After receiving all the information and signing your Sales Partner agreement,
you can start selling. Place orders utilizing any of our convenient options and
we will take care of the rest ... it is truly that easy.
